About Tinty
Tinty is a free puzzle game that you play in your browser. It takes the sliding board of 2048 and asks a different question: instead of chasing one big number, you mix colors to fill orders. Yellow and blue make green. Two greens make a deeper green. Three orders are always waiting, and each one asks for an exact color and shade.
Tinty is made by Afiq, an independent developer. It has no accounts and no email sign-up, and you don't need to install anything. Open the page and start playing, on a phone or a computer.
Ways to play
- Easy uses the three classic mixes of red, yellow and blue. It's the best place to learn, and it works offline.
- Hard adds six more mixes and trickier orders. Your scores count on the weekly and all-time leaderboards.
- Daily gives everyone the same puzzle each UTC day. Your first finished attempt is the one that counts on that day's board.

Fair leaderboards
A score on the leaderboard has to be earned. Your browser never sends a score. It sends the list of moves you made, and the server replays them from the start under the same rules. The score that replay produces is the one that goes on the board, so a score can't simply be typed in.
Colors you can tell apart
Tinty has twelve colors on a color wheel, each with four shades. Every tile shows its shade as dots, and a Show letters setting adds a letter for each color, so you can tell tiles apart without relying on color alone. The game also supports keyboard play and respects your device's reduced motion setting.
How Tinty is funded
Tinty is free to play. To help cover the cost of running it, the site may show ads from Google AdSense. The privacy policy explains what that means for your data.
